The Oddities and Curiosities Expo

This Saturday, May 1, bring your family to explore all things weird at The Oddities and Curiosities Expo at the Dome at America’s Center. You’ll find items such as taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, and much more. There is truly something weird for everyone at this event. Tickets for this event are only available in advance.

OrigamiintheGarden

Head to the Missouri Botanical Garden for OrigamiintheGarden: A Monumental Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition. Families will be able to explore 18 awe-inspiring large-scale sculptures including a majestic tower of 1000 cranes, flying birds, painted ponies, emerging butterflies, floating boats, and more. OrigamiintheGarden is included with Garden admission and viewable 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays–Sundays.

Midnight Madness

Rev up your engines! It’s time for Midnight Madness at the Worldwide Technology Raceway. The event occurs every Friday starting April 30th and features Test ‘n’ Tunes for street-legal cars and motorcycles, drifting, DJs, contests, and attractions. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. This program is offered as a safer alternative to illegal street racing.
